Introduction to Spiritual Energy Healing with Reiki & Crystals

The world as we know it is made up of energy. It surrounds and infuses everything we do. Our bodies are made up of energy that is measurable by technology, but is not fully understood by Western Allopathic standards. Tests such as EKG and EEG measure the electrical currents in our systems. It is well-known that doctors of allopathic medicine measure the Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Delta waves.

This energy is known by many names. It is known as Ki in Japan, Chi in China, Prauna in India, and Ruach in Hebrew just to name a few.

Scientists are now coming to the conclusion that everything is energy. Molecules and cells are vibrating strings of energy. These vibrations affect the energy fields around them, back and forth. In this way crystals interact with our systems to promote healing and feelings of well being. The energy field around a crystal is similar to a magnetic field. The more research that is done the more scientists realize that it’s not such a big jump from Quantum Physics to Metaphysics.

History has provided systems for working with this energy. Subtle-energy pathways of the human body are best described as Meridians by traditional Chinese Medicine, and join at ‘vertices’ best described as Chakras by Hindu Ayurvedic tradition. There are close ties of these systems to both the Jewish Kabbalah and the Christian Sacraments.

Acupuncture/pressure, Yoga, Tai-Chi, and Prayer are all ancient practices of working with our energy fields. Reiki, the Universal (Rei) Life-Force (Ki) energy is an alternative & complementary healing practice, applied both hands-on and from a distance. This service is essentially a philosophy and spiritual practice of prayer.

Crystals, because of their nature and chemical composition, are tools, gifts from our planet Earth in nature, which we can use to influence the human electromagnetic field. Over the ages crystals have been found to carry vibrations that stimulate certain energy centers within our electromagnetic systems that are in constant motion within our very bodies. Each crystal vibrates at a different frequency, thus having the ability to affect all of the body’s energy systems physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Reiki serves to amplify our energetic flow, and practitioners hold safe space for receivers to heal and evolve.
